- I've used the Zip Drive with the GVP 4008 on my 4000/30 for a few months
- without ANY errors, until recently. I tried to attach an AIWA CD300
- (external) and if I try moving data from the CDROM (or even just play an
- audio CD) at the same time as using the Zip Drive, I get the message
- Unexpected Status : $40/$00 on unit (whatever unit the CDROM is), but
- then the system ususally crashes. Both devices work fine on their own.
- Are you using any other devices as well as the Zip Drive? I'd agree with
- your 600K/sec estimate though, bit feeble isn't it?
-
- How do you check if the GVP board itself is terminated?
-
- Thanks,
